1) Do your homework
-Spend time figuring out what you want to say
2) Play the parts
-Have a few main parts
-Tell audience parts before and as going through presentation
3) Do a dry run
-Go through at least once
-Make mental notes
4) Look presentable
-You don't have to be super dressed up, but look nice
5) Talk; don't read
-It is more important that you present in a natural and relaxed way (you practice sessions should help)

6) Take it slow- Your audience hasn't heard this information before so you need to go slow enough for them to understand topic
7) Use Aids- Write material on the board, use handouts. This helps the audience understand the main points
8) Don't bury the crowd- Too much data and statistics are overwhelming for an audience
9) Be yourself- Don't try to be like someone else or you won't succeed
10) Play it straight- Be serious about the topic you are discussing, but you can also add a little humor into it (not too much)

11) Circle the crowd- Make eye contact with your audience to let them know you are interested in communicating with them.
12) Appear relaxed- Appear to be relaxed as possible (even if you actually aren't).
13) Finish strong- Always be sure to end in a good conclusion. It makes you readers feel like they learned something from your presentation.
14)Welcome interruptions-
Don't be afraid if one of the audience members asks a question. It shows that they are engaged with what you are saying to them.
15) Know when to stop lecturing- Certain presentations require you to have more discussions on more material. In a discussion period, never lecture but discuss. How you discuss is just as important as how you present.
