The incorporation, production, and creation of new technology were significant in the changing nature of warfare of World War I. The photo above depicts troops boarding a train during the First World War. The use of railways were a prime example of technology that changed the nature of warfare in World War I. Railways enabled large scale armies to be moved from place to place during war, as well as aiding in the transport of supplies, resources, and food, leading to great strides in warfare.

The picture below shows a member of the British Army at a wireless station in 1917 using the Telegraph. The Telegraph changed the nature of warfare in World War I by enabling commanders to exert more control and force over their armies, as well as allowing detection of wireless traffic, alerting the British Navy to the movements of the German fleet, for instance.

Though most associate chemical warfare with World War II, it was also used during World War I. The photo shown below portrays a German soldier in the First World War with dogs equipped with gas masks. There were a number of poisonous gasses and chemicals used to cause harm to enemies which led to major strides for the party that wasn't on the receiving-end of the toxic chemicals.

The rise of the Nazi Party eventually led to one of the most remembered, catastrophic devastations in all of history- the Holocaust. The picture below is of the leader of the Nazi Party, Adolf Hitler, showing his 'Nazi salute' to his soldiers.

The main causes of World War II were, according to Wikipedia, nationalistic tensions, unresolved issues, and resentments resulting from World War I. Turmoil and tensions between European countries during World War I didn't just disappear after the war ended, they rolled over into the start of World War II. The picture below is a medal commemorating World War II.

A significant effect of World War I is debt. The US began to let its European allies borrow money, starting in 1917, and eventually lending $10 billion. This caused the people of the United states to have to start using rations. This picture is a poster made, basically stating that if you're patriotic, you won't let the use of ration points bother or hinder you.
