         <description><![CDATA[<div>INTERACTIVE-CANENCIA<br><br></div><ol><li>Resistance measurements are commonly used to determine the state of a component or circuit. The lesser the current flow, the higher the resistance. Damaged conductors due to burning or corrosion could be one probable explanation if the voltage is unusually high.</li><li>Water towers can provide water even in the case of a power outage because they rely on hydrostatic pressure created by water elevation (due to gravity) to push water into domestic and industrial water distribution systems. However, they cannot provide water for an extended period of time without power because a pump is typically required to refill the tower. A water tower can also be used as a reservoir to help meet water demands during peak periods. During the high usage hours of the day, the water level in the tower drops, and a pump fills it back up during the night. Because the tower is regularly drained and refilled, this technique also prevents the water from freezing in cold weather.</li><li>The water flowing through a river is known as a river current. Rivers travel from higher to lower elevations before eventually emptying into a larger body of water. River currents are created by the force of gravity, which causes the water to flow downward.</li></ol>]]></description>
