         <title>Aldehyde vs OH hydrogen bonding</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>So I looked up why alcohols have higher BPs than aldehydes, and it basically has to do with polarity. Aldehydes are nonpolar and alcohols are polar, meaning the aldehyde's hydrogen does not partake in hydrogen bonding. Not sure the reasoning behind this but just know that aldehydes and ketones are nonpolar!</div>]]></description>
