I know that work-related accidents and illnesses are often caused by factors such as poor workplace safety procedures, lack of proper training, human error, fatigue, and failure to follow regulations. In aviation maintenance, common hazards include slips, trips, falls, exposure to hazardous materials, and improper use of tools or equipment. Stress and overwork can also contribute to mistakes that lead to accidents.

Workplace injuries are to and far between. Most accidents can come from user errors and the overconfidence effect where the worker can think they're overly good at something. But it can also come from the job inability to clearly state rule and regulations with the lack of training.

Through this module, I gained valuable insights about workplace safety risks. I discovered that most accidents follow predictable patterns and are preventable through systematic risk assessment. The interplay between physical workplace design and human behavior significantly impacts accident rates. I learned that fatigue management is crucial, as tired workers are 70% more likely to be involved in accidents. Additionally, I now understand that psychological factors like stress and workplace pressure can increase accident risk as much as physical hazards. The importance of near-miss reporting stood out, as these incidents often predict future serious accidents.

The Workplace can be a positive and safe environment with proper training and safety procedures. The presence of a well trained and educated workforce heavily affects the number of accidents and injuries while at work. With constant evolution in safety precaution measures along with continued trading there should be a consistent level of safety while at work. Injuries at the workplace can be as simple as a slip in fall in the bathroom because a caution sign was not set up, or in some occupations a severe incident could cause a life changing injury or even death. Employers need to always focus and proper trading and health of employees. Overtime we see that proper scheduling and timing of employees impacts level of safety at work. Employees should be getting healthy sleep and rest.
