To develop this activity, these are the steps:

Students will share their own information and ask questions. One student will ask the driving questions, as the other one answers, then, they will change roles. The student who is listening has to take notes about his/her partner’s information.

Students will present her/his partner’s information.

When part 1 is finished, the student will tell the teacher the information given by her/his partner. In this part, students are allowed to use (as key words) but reading is forbidden. They have to record (in video format) their presentations and send them to the teacher immediately; this recording will be checked in the feedback session with the teacher.

SOCIALIZATION

Interview: Hi guys, I´m with Angel Calderon, he is a Public Accountant and student Law. Angel, what abilities absolutely do you necessary to be a professional in your branch? Why?

Angel: I consider to be a a professional in the public accountant branch it is necessary to have knowledge about software and databases, it must know how to give instructions and how to read people and the ability of teamwork. As a lawyer it is necessary to know and interpret the laws, to know how to read people intentions and thinking.

Interview: Which of those abilities do you already possess? Which ones do you have to improve? Which ones do you have to work on?

Angel: I already possess the knowledge in databases and software, however, I am always studying and updating my abilities through training courses and researches I do. As a lawyer I already have the knowledge about laws, but I am always reading about jurisprudence, new cases and legal procedures. I always work on my abilities related with people relationship, since it is important to use the appopriate language to transmit the message we want people have and understand. I think this is one of the hardest ability to achieve in almost all the professions.

In both of my professions it is very important to have the ability of knowing to be silent.

Interview: What other abilities do you think are also important to be successful in your branch? Why?

Angel: Something I like from my two professions is that there are always job opportunities, this professions allow to work in many fields of the society. There is also something I really dislike from my professions and it is related to my colleagues, public accountants and lawyers, because some of them are working for less payment and some are mediocre to do their jobs and make a bad image of our prefessions.
