<title>I&#39;ve tried and implemented redos, extra time on assignments with no penalty, minimum grading, power of zero, plain language grading scales, no homework grade, and immediate feedback on performance. I&#39;m able to clearly articulate my expectations and what students need to do to redo assignments. I don&#39;t waste time chasing pieces of paper. Rubrics are the key to all of this. </title>

<title>This year, I have implemented a 50% floor and also removed all penalties for late work. I think that it enables students to try their best, even well after the due date, and to &quot;get it right&quot; because they know that they can receive full credit.</title>
