The vast majority of the population dreams of visitiing not only famous cities susch as Paris or New York, bu also more exotic destinations.

It is undeniable that these places are very appealing for us because they are usually diferent from our countries of origin. As a conquence people are able to appreaciate and learn other cultures, which is the reason why they return so satisfied.

However, travellers tend to forget the danger these trips may entail. Given the great differences between countries, foreign people find it more difficult to adapt and, therefore, they ae likely to put themselves in danger by walking across the wrong streets or by becoming an easy prey for thieves. On top of that, once something happens to you in a different country, it is much more difficult to solve the problem.

In light of the above, it is clearly risky to visit exotic countries but, as I see it, this danger shouldn't stop us from travelling. We just need to be more cautious.

Countries such as Nepal or Vietnam always sound more interesting than Ireland or the UK. However, opting for an exotic visit might in some cases be risky for a number of reasons.

To beging with, it is undeniable that there still exist countires where human fundamental rights are not preserved. Unfortunately, belonging to an LGTBQ+ group or being a woman, for instance, might limit your freedom when traveling to certain lcoations. Furthermore, it goes without saying, that each country has its own traditions, which may differ greatly, making tourists's experience uncomfortable or at least not so enjoyable.

Conversely, exotic countries offer unforgettable expereinces to foreigners, for the good or for the bad. Getting to know different cultures is always enriching and allows people to have a different perspective of the world.

In light of the above, it is crystal clear that visitiing exotic destinations is a fascinating yet hazardous experience to live. As far as I am concerned, it is suitable to travel to a remote place provided that you have weighed up the possible risks as well as the benefits of the experience.

In this day and age, the population has the urge to travel abroad to get in touch with different cultures. In the last decade, exotic destinations have gained an insane popularity. However, what are the advantages and disadvantages of travelling to such places?

When choosing a place to go on vacation, people usually rely on beach resorts within their country or opt for highly developed cities such as Tokyo or NYC. It is undeniable that the vast majority of the population prefers to explore new cultures without taking any risks: the risk of being scammed, kidnapped or assaulted in exotic destinations, usually located in poorer countries.

Nevertheless, even though chances of being harmed in any way when traveling to exotic destinations such as the Amazon, Nepal or the Middle East are higher, there is no need to feel safe unless you don't take any precautions. There are countless experiences and unusual cultural heritage that you won't see in western civilizations that truly make the difference when it comes to traveling and enjoying vital experiences.

Taking the aforementioned points into consideration, fear is the first and foremost barrier that we impose on ourselves when deciding on a destination. Overcoming this paranoia will allow us to get unforgettable experiences that will contribute to enriching our cultural knowledge.
