My I/A will likely lead the class in the event of my absence simply because she knows the students and their routine/schedule. My lesson plans are also in Planbook and accessible through my public teacher website on the school site (link provided to sub). I typically lay out all my group time books and activities for the week on Fridays so I am ready for the upcoming week. The sub should just follow the schedule, read the book(s) and complete the activities laid out and labeled for that day.
