Medical holography with real time 2D and 3D visualization is a new technology which will help doctors do procedures such as angiography, glenn shunt, etc. The image will have visual representation as if the organ and/or the procedure that the doctor is working on is in front of his/her eyes. The quality of the image presented in front of the doctor's eyes is of high quality and the procedure gets updated as the doctor works on it.

I believe that medical holography is the future of some cardiac related procedures and once enough research is identified on this subject, doctors will start using this technology more. This technology has a high potential to become big in the healthcare industry, I believe with strong research and evidence, it will happen soon.

Medical holography links healthcare informatics through the high technology 3D visuals of organs for the doctors to perform medical procedures in a precise and effective way. McGonigle and Mastrian ( 2015) share about medical simulations where these 3D images of human organs help inquire more skills and procedures that can be completed by medical professionals (McGonigle, D. & Mastrian, K.G., 2015, p. 401).
