We provide lab coats to students, for labs in which they are needed and we pay for laundry service (the coats don't leave the lab). Biology also provides a variety of safety glasses (some fit over glasses, some have a better nose pad...), which we sterilize with UV (we have alcohol wipes too). We also have a smaller number of scrub pants and boots, if students come to class without lower body coverings. This allows students to participate in lab if they don't have the necessary attire, and is in contrast to our previous policy where we wouldn't allow students in the lab.
