My favorite memory from health occs was watching the movie "Contagion" and then basically living the movie in a less extreme way...

I LOVED this class. My favorite memories from it are making the tie blankets, getting lost in the hospital for rotations, watching the heart surgery, and always unpacking the LARGEST possible box from Project CURE. Thanks Mrs. Klen and Ms. Yager for a great semester!!!! <3

I really enjoyed this class. I loved going on the different rotations and getting to see what they did for a job. It was also a great experience for me to do Project CURE because I was with my friends at a table unpacking boxes together. We all had fun when unpacking the boxes and time always seemed to go by so fast when there.

This class was always one I looked forward to. Getting to shadow in the hospital was so much fun and so was project cure. It was really cool having that time to be physically doing to help others while hanging out with my friends. I also really liked the day that we made blankets in class that was very fun. :)

The only thing that made me want to go to school is knowing that I was in a class that actually helps me with my future. I loved Health occupations and I wish I got to go on all of my rotations and see different departments of the same field. My favorite memory was going to the Science and industry museum in Chicago and watching a live heart bypass. Even though surgery may gross some people out, I find it absolutely fascinating. I loved this class a lot and I appreciate the days I was in this class.

I loved this class. If I wasn't having a good morning, all my friends in this class would make it so much better. My favorite memory was definitely when we went to MSI for Live from the Heart! Being able to watch a live surgery was such a unique experience and I really enjoyed it.

I looked forward to this class everyday. I was very interested in everything we did everyday. I will miss it so much. My favorite memory would probably be the first rotation I went on to Sunrise or when we went to go see the heart bypass surgery at the museum. I am so grateful for being able to be in this class. Thank you Mrs.Klen and Ms. Yager for everything this semester!

I loved this class so much, for so many reasons. It was filled with so many great people and great teachers. I would have to say my favorite memory was going to the open heart surgery because I had never seen anything like that before so it was a really cool opportunity. I enjoyed this class so much, I was always able to smile and have fun during our time together. Thanks so much Mrs. Klen and Ms. Yager for an amazing semester!!

this class was so much fun! i love having such a big class with all seniors it allowed all of ya to connect more before the year ended. one of my favorite memories is making the blankets to donate to the hospital. our table had way too much fun making them and it made all of us feel like we were making a difference in someone’s life too! one of my favorite rotations was Dr. Morris IVF clinic the nurses were amazing and I learned so much just from talking with them for an hour! I’m so thankful for the opportunities this class has given me:)

I loved the fact that everyone in this class had similar interests! It was so fun to be surrounded by students with similar passions because we already had something to relate to each other about. Not only was I able to be exposed to students with similar interests, but I was able to explore my fields of interest. Without health occs, I wouldn't know that I have an interest in cardio and I would love to explore that in the future! I'm grateful for health occs, the people, and experiences I was able to have.

I really really loved this class. It was a class that I had looked forward to taking since I took Intro to Health Occ sophomore year. One of my favorite memories was going to see the Child Life Specialist, because it made me realize that that's something I would love to do. Thank you guys for making this class so amazing, and for giving us the opportunities to go and see all these departments in the first place. I'll never forget the fun times I had in this class.

This was one of my favorite classes that I looked forward to. I loved going on rotations with friends and just experiencing what it's like to work in the medical field. my favorite day in class was when we made blankets. I really enjoyed the energy and environment of this class and will never forget it. I feel like everyone was very kind to each other and all had the same excitement for the medical field. My favorite memory is the heart surgery because it was unlike anything I had ever experienced and was really cool and fascinating to watch.

This class was one that I constantly looked forward to. It was so refreshing to be surrounded by people who were passionate about what they wanted to do and the goals that they set for themselves. One of my favorite memories from the class was actually during our hospital orientation. Everyone was super confused and afraid they would get lost, but it was comforting and entertaining to learn that I wasn't the only person who felt that way.

This class was always the one that loved to go to. Everyone in the class really came together through our passions of health care to create a great community. In addition, your both as teachers helped us to make sure that class was an encouraging environment. I cant thank you both enough for the amazing experience I had in the class. I love you both! I think this was my favorite class I have taken in all of high school. I looked forward to it everyday and there never was a day I didn't wish I was there. I think everyone in the class got along very well which made everything so much more fun. My favorite memory was the heart surgery field trip because it was not an opportunity many will ever get. Ever since I took into to health occupation my sophmore year I looked forward to being in this class. I'm very sad it got cut short but the time we all got together was still amazing.

This class was definitely one of my favorite classes that I took. We got so any unique experiences that I wouldn't take back for anything. I'm so so grateful for everything and hope that I will continue to be able to do things like project C.U.R.E. in the future. I think some of my favorite memories were taking the HUGE boxes there and unpacking them. I also loved the heart surgery because I know that's not something that everyone gets to see. Making those tie blankets was really fun too and for a great cause so I'm glad that was something we could do as a class. Also, I know this wasn't this year in health oc but way back to intro to health oc Sophomore year, coming up with baby names was the cutest...almost as cute as our daily videos with Landon during out quarantine!! Thank you Mrs. Klen and Ms.Yager for an awesome year ((:

Thank you Mrs. Klen and Ms. Yager for such a fun semester! I am very grateful for the time I've spent in the classroom and on rotations because I know they were unique opportunities that many students don't get to experience. I think my favorite part of the class was going to Project Cure! I think Project Cure is such an amazing organization and it allows us to be apart of something bigger than ourselves. I love their philosophy and everything they stand for. Being in this class has really help me solidify my passions in medicine. Thank you, again!

Thank you so much Mrs. Klen and Ms. Yager! I loved every minute in this class and was so happy that I took it. One of my favorite memories was in intro to health occ. I asked "Mrs. Klen, how many dudes are in health occ?" thinking that there would be like 5. You answered with "Nate, you are the only one"; such a funny time. I really enjoyed being singled out for everything boy related that anybody said in the class for the whole semester. I also enjoyed going to the hospitals and always being greeted with "Oh, you are the boy!" Thanks again for everything.

Thank you so much Mrs. Klen and Ms. Yager!! I am so grateful that I got to be apart of this class. I enjoyed having a class full of senior that really got along with each other well. My favorite part of this class would probably be being able to go on the rotations and seeing all the different professional at work. It really helped me with solidifying my plans to go into the medical field. I am so sad that this year ended the way it did, but regardless, I am so thankful for all the experiences that I got to go through because of this class. Thank you!! I will definitely miss this class, my classmates, and my amazing teachers!! :)

I always enjoyed my time spent in the classroom but also loved the amazing experiences I got outside of the classroom. Thank you guys for be so nice and understanding it really was a great semester. My favorite memory was going to the hospital for one of my rotations, I had the best time and it would not have been possible without this class. Thank you so much Mrs. Klen and Ms. Yager for a great semester! The vibe of this class was so different from any other class I’ve taken so overall it was a really unique environment and curriculum. My favorite part of this class was going on all the different rotations and exposing myself to new areas of the healthcare field. I think the way you guys set up the class was really organized so hats off to you!! I’m so sad our time was cut short, I truly looked forward to health occs everyday. :( but thank you guys for everything!! <3

I loved this class so much! It was the best part of my day and I was so glad I got to spend TWO periods together. The environment in the classroom is always so positive! I loved getting to ride the buses with you guys and one of my favorite things is getting to talk to you guys at the end of the period, it is always so relaxing and the conversation was always fun! I will miss you guys, hope to see you in the future!!
