Beginning of Life

William Shakespeare was born on April 23, 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon, England. During Shakespeare’s early life he had financial issues due to his father transitioning from being somewhat wealthy to bankruptcy. Although this caused Shakespeare to have an underprivileged lifestyle in the beginning of his life, he still attended grammar school for free which he enjoyed a lot. As Shakespeare entered adulthood without the education of a University, at the age of 18 he had already been married to Anne Hathaway.

Importance During The Renaissance

William Shakespeare was one of the most influential persons during the Renaissance having a major influence and impact on the theater during the Renaissance. Although much of Shakespeare's early career is unclear, it was known that he was a part of a group with the best actor, theater, and dramatist which was Shakespeare called, “Lord Chamberlain’s Company of Players” During the plague theaters were closed and Shakespeare wrote two narrative masterpieces. One of these masterpieces was called Venus and Adonis and the second one was called Rape of Lucrece. These narratives focused on the mythology and symbolic traditions during the Renaissance.

Shakespeare was also remembered for his poetry during the Renaissance. Ultimately he was a very important figure in the Renaissance for all of his work.

Accomplishments

Shakespeare was such an excellent writer, poet, and play writer that he wrote the famous play Romeo and Juliet which is still popular now. This was definitely a major accomplishment of Shakespeare due to the success of his Romeo and Juliet, but this wasn't the only play he wrote that became successful, he also wrote the plays Julius Caesar and Hamlet. These are Shakespeare's biggest accomplishments in his life and are what carry on his legacy.

Romeo and Juliet is a play written by Shakespeare about a tragic love story between to people that were supposed to be sworn enemies. The story of Romeo and Juliet had such an impact on the world during the Renaissance and still in todays world.
