I agree with the identity themed tours vs. the interactive tours or identity themed tours vs. discovery themed tours aka interactive. A little preface to the document of the 7 exhibits I'm proposing for the tour. I think having a set theme for all the pieces we visit will make the tour catered to different types of people and would 
1) be awkward if we had squirmy children on our identity tour or pensive, silent, old people on our interactive tour and 
2) Not be sufficient at giving tour members the holistic picture of Light City Baltimore that I think we want them to have at the end of the tour 
Sooo I chose 7 pieces mainly along the waterfront (which will probably be the easiest route I'm thinking the pieces are all in the same direction from the starting point) that encompass a couple of different themes including interactive (communications gap, the pool ) and identity (Suenos, our light is your light) while also presenting some visually stunning pieces as well (OVO, Our House, Peacock). I think this option is kinda a compromise between the two themes maybe? Who knows give feedback plz

A lot of you have already weighed in, but I just wanted to expand a little bit on my identity idea. A lot of the pieces centered around the idea of a cultural identity both in and out of Baltimore. Good ones to focus on (Kara already mentioned most of these) could be Sueños, Moon Garden, My Light is Your Light, and Shabamanetica. House of Cards (I think these will have images specific to Baltimore on them?) and L'Envol, which shifts depending on where it is, could also work with the theme. These pieces also open up an opportunity for some discussion on the tour, which could make it feel more interactive.  Thanks! Have a good rest of your week!

I think we should center the tours around "experiences." I think we should highlight the work that is relevant to 2016/17. By experience I mean both the exciting work that highlights the recent technological advances in art/society (ie. the VR experience piece) , but also work that enables people to experience an issue that was surfaced recently like the  immigration and refugee crisis (ie. the figural family sculptures that addresses the migrant experience).
