I struggled to get off the ground with this assignment because the topic I picked does not easily lend itself to a fiction interpretation. And also I did not put much thought into what I was going to write until Sunday night  when the submission deadline was staring me in the face. 
For this I researched the origins of the United States options markets. I knew the original market developed in Chicago as a way for farmer to hedge their crops, but I did not know when exactly it started.
