    The supreme court case and ruling of Schenck v. United States was a time when the Supreme Court was taking control of anything and everything, regardless of whether it was against their own rights or not. For example, a man named Charles Schenck was caught handing out flyers to men who were serving in the war. Schenck tried to explain to them that the Espionage Act has taken away their freedom of speech. Although the court has claimed that is in fact not true.     Propaganda played a major role in shaping the American opinion because of the power and the strong message it was delivering. Propagandas are not only known for their messages but also for the image delivering the message. These images could come off to be very emotional photos that could draw more attention to what is trying to be said. The propagandas became an important part of the war because people came to realize they couldn’t just rely on their objects and certain materials to support the war. So they gathered together and decided they needed to be more together as a whole and speak out their own public opinions. They did this through propagandas along with, newspapers and other things.
