There are a few types of pollutions, composing air water that can harm your health . Example water pollution can harm sea or aquatic animals or sea birds that tend to eat the trash float in the sea. Microplastics can be eaten by fish and the fish is then eaten by its predator and continued down the food chain. This harms the health of those in the food chain.

Why is Global Warming bad? It sounds like a simple question, but how does it affect our planet? The effect warmer temperatures will have on Earth's polar regions and mountain glaciers. The Arctic is warming four times faster than the rest of the planet. This warming reduces critical ice habitat and it disrupts the flow of the jet stream, creating more unpredictable weather patterns around the globe. This means that animals like polar bears and other arctic animals might lose their homes and places to transport. Despite some animals may swim, polar bears or other animals who depend on ice blocks for transportation may not survive because of global warming.

Deforestation is a action of clearing a wide area of trees. Human activities are the main cause of deforestation. So why do we do this if we know this harms our environment? Some main reasons are for farming, logging(cutting down trees for paper, wood objects etc...), urban development(buildings) and mining. But sometimes deforestation are within our control. Natural events that cause this is also possible. Some examples are volcanic eruptions, hurricanes, floods ,forest fires and droughts. The effects of deforestation is disastorous. We may not feel the effects now but is the near future the effects will be obvious. Tempretures will rise and water might just become something of a dream but we still have time to change. Trees help reduce the effects of global warming and prevent soil erosion. By planting trees(reforestation) we may just prevent that disastorous future from happening! Lets help the Earth together!!

Causes of climate change is greenhouse gases the worst greenhouse gas is carbon dioxide😖😬

What humans do to cause climate change….😢

Firstly,Humans take cars instead of taking the bus / MRT / walking or even cycling. This causes factories to burn more fossil fuels like coal and oil to produce more energy [ electricity, heating ]. When this happens more carbon dioxide will go into the atmosphere making our surroundings warmer.Secondly, deforestation, cutting down of trees causes more carbon dioxide to be released to the atmosphere too…. There would be less trees to absorb carbon dioxide and not being able to photosynthesize.

Not only do humans cause global warming , Natural disasters also play a part too….😖😭

Firstly,Volcano eruptions releases green house gases to the environment which also includes carbon dioxide.

Secondly, changes in the solar radiation,Flunctutations in the sun’s energy output could overall change earth’s temperature.☀️🙈

Credits:: google [ photo ]

Global warming is the word that describes that the earth’s overall temperature is increasing drastically. The earth is experiencing global warming as cutting down trees and polluting the atmosphere can trap carbon dioxide in the earth and if this continues, sea levels can rise and flood costal areas of Singapore such as Bedok, Marina Bay and East Coast park. Antarctica, which holds life such as penguins that can only be found there, would melt and the penguins would either have to migrate or die. To save the earth from overheating, we should not cut down trees, drive vehicles that uses diesel engines as that releases carbon dioxide and do not burn trash as burning trash would release a toxic gas into the atmosphere. Instead, we should drive electric vehicles, burn less trash and save trees. This ensures that the earth would be as cool as in the past, no areas would be flooded and we would save Antarctica from melting and would save life living there. - by Ezekiel Goh.

Deforestation is the purposeful clearing of forested land.Throughout history and modern times , forests have been cut down to make way for agriculture and animal grazing. We also cut down trees for oil and fuel. Doing all this has created global warming. What animals are affected by Deforestation? Deforestation significantly impacts a wide range of animal species, leading to habitat loss, reduced food sources, and increased vulnerability to threats such as poaching.Species such as tigers, elephants, rhinos and various bird and primate species

The depletion of natural resources occurs when resources are consumed at a faster rate than their replacement. Natural resources are those resources that are in existence with human actions, and they can either renewable or non-renewable. When it gets down to the discussion of natural resources depletion, it is a term used in reference to water usage, farming, fossil fuels consumption, fishing, and mining. And above all, natural resources depletion are defined on the premise that the value of resource is measured in terms of its availability in nature.

Climate change refers to the long-term changes in temperature, precipitation, and other weather patterns caused by human activities such as burning fossil fuels. These activities have increased the number of greenhouse gas emissions released, causing significant changes to weather patterns worldwide. These changes include more frequent and intense heatwaves changes in precipitation patterns leading to more extreme droughts and floods, and an increase in the intensity and frequency of extreme weather events like hurricanes and wildfires. The primary driver is the increase in greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide and methane from human activities, which trap heat and raise global temperatures. This leads to more frequent and intense heat waves, longer hot seasons, and overall warmer temperatures.

Melting glaciers and ice sheets contribute to rising sea levels, which can exacerbate coastal flooding and storm surges. Record-breaking heat waves are becoming more common, leading to heatstroke and other health problems.

Droughts: Some regions are experiencing longer and more severe droughts, impacting agriculture and water resources.

Flooding: Heavy rainfall events are causing widespread flooding in many areas.

Wildfires: Hotter, drier conditions increase the risk and intensity of wildfires.

Storms: Hurricanes and other storms are becoming more intense and destructive.

These activities have increased the number of greenhouse gas emissions released; these emissions trap heat within Earth’s atmosphere, leading to increasing global temperatures.

According to NASA, the Earth's average surface temperature has risen by about 1°C since the late 19th century.1 The results include melting glaciers, rising sea levels, disrupted ecosystems and an increase in severe weather events such as droughts, floods, heat waves and wildfires.

Natural resources such as fossil fuels are non-renewable and come from the dead matter of animals which takes millions of years to form. They also come from trees and the very heart of earth which has oil underneath our feet. These fuels are mainly used for transportation, fuel pumps and other reasons.

Because of us now, they are rapidly deteriorating as we keep on burning them to keep energy around countries. I don’t want to say this but we must change our actions as the nature around us is also depleting at the same rate as our fossil fuels are as the pollution that rises into the atmosphere of Gaia is being mixed with the heat from the sun, contributing to global warming, which causes an influx of natural disasters to form such as floods, which kills animals in usually flooded areas such as mangrove and peat swamps.

That does not stop there, we are also causing long periods of haze which can last up to a month or two, causing trees to die from no sunlight as haze usually blocks sunlight which is important for trees to photosynthesize. Not only that, it also causes animals to die from suffocation. That’s all for now.

Pollution

Water pollution poses significant problems that threaten both human health and the environment.

The main problem of water pollution is that it contaminates water resources, making water unsafe for human consumption and harmful to ecosystems, which leads to serious health risks and environmental damage.

Issue of Water Pollution

Water pollution occurs when harmful substances—such as chemicals, waste products, pathogens, or toxic materials—enter water bodies like rivers, lakes, oceans, or groundwater. This contamination degrades water quality, disrupting the natural balance and compromising its usability.

Impact on Human Health

Polluted water can carry dangerous pathogens and toxic chemicals that cause diseases such as cholera, dysentery, and hepatitis. Drinking or coming into contact with contaminated water puts millions of people at risk of waterborne illnesses worldwide. Moreover, toxins accumulated in fish and aquatic organisms can enter the human food chain, causing long-term health problems.

Environmental Consequences

Water pollution severely affects aquatic ecosystems. Harmful pollutants can kill fish and other marine life, reduce biodiversity, and disrupt reproductive cycles. Nutrient pollution, such as excess nitrogen and phosphorus from fertilizers, often leads to algal blooms that deplete oxygen in the water, causing "dead zones" where life cannot survive. These changes destabilize ecosystems and reduce their capacity to provide essential services.
