  • helped his public image in his District Attorney campaign

Media
  • exploited this case
  • various opinions on race and sex


The media also created the division between the Duke Lacrosse players vs feminists, the black community, and people against rape.

And since most of these people weren't in the court room, the medias word was bond.

Ethics vs Morals
Nifong used the media to gain black votes 
  • empty promises of winning the case
  • promised credible evidence
  • had credibility in the media because of his position of power
His actions were both unethical and immoral.
