Toyota's learning strategy is consistent with behaviorism theory, which highlights how reinforcement shapes behavior (Skinner, 1953). Continuous observation and systematic on-the-job training, like the "A Day at Work" program, are used at Toyota to guarantee that workers' actions are influenced and strengthened by the advice and comments of their managers (Hayward & Baty, 2025). Toyota fosters the desirable behaviors in its workforce by emphasizing both technical skills and behaviors, such as reacting effectively in situations requiring problem solving. Key behaviorist ideas are reflected in this ongoing cycle of reinforcement and feedback, which aids employees in adapting and doing well in their positions.

At toyota they provide some classroom training and workshops that will support members in their future progress. The advantages: Cognitive focused instruction has the potential to provide more meaningful learning to learners with longer impact
