This has enabled me to travel a lot and to have an overview of different education systems.

I had the opportunity to approach these three forms of learning. In my opinion, they are all necessary and complementary.
I worked in a non-profit organisation as an assistant project manager, which aimed at raising people's awareness about the EU, its success and current challenges. Therefore, providing non-formal education. This experience was very enriching as I got to discuss hot topics with students and adults. I also had the opportunity to design non-formal educational tools and activities for different ages.
I think the contact with the students is different in non-formal education framework. It acts as an extracurricular activity, which is very valuable for the students.

I personally don't have a twitter account. It is definitely a good tool to share with people and to learn from them, and to depevelop PLN. However, I am already active on other networks like Facebook and Linkedin and don't want to spend time on another social media. I think it is important to use these social media efficently but with moderation. Indeed, it is easy to get into a filter bubble by selecting only topics we are interested in, follow people that think like us only and then to experience the phenomenon of an echo chamber - without often even noticing it. I organised a conference about dis/misinformation last year in Sweden with my classmates (see website of the conference https://warontrutheurope.com/). One of the speakers during this conference developed a tool http://ekokammaren.se/ that sorts newspapers articles published on facebook according to their political orientation. Therefore, we can observe how the types of news that will appear on our Facebook newsfeed differ according to the newspaper we decide to follow/like on Facebook.

Using multiple pedagogies in the classroom by adapting the setup to the type of activity we want to do with the students is a powerful way of teaching. It enables students to be more active, to have a more immersing and engaging way of learning. It is necessary that they can work in group as much as possible so that they can share their opinions and learn from each others. The teacher should be present to support them, to give them direction, to encourage debates between the students, to share experiences and information.

eTwinning is a great tool to share good practices and to develop partnerships with educational professinoals all over the world. Building a classroom without walls is absolutely necessary to open students' mind on the world that surrounds them. Skype lessons and other exchanges using ITC represent a great way to engage students.
I have been part of several exchange projects as a student. I got to meet German students and to go to Germany. These experiences increased my interest in languages and cultures and motivated me to study in different countries.

I discovered Pinterest a while ago, I used to spend a lot of time searching for illustrations or activities back in the US (2 years ago). As a French assistent, I tried to make activities as fun as possible for the students.
I created a board called "Fairy tales" https://pin.it/5qdfnn4owyk6p3, because I love teaching using fairy tales. I pinned various activities related to fairy tales, enabling to cross-cut subjects, that is, not to teach fairy tales in French or in English lessons but also in biology lessons (growing a magic bean) or in art lessons (using different materials and methods).
