During this project, I learned that you can start a business with anything. Anne Geddes dropped out of high school, and still started a successful career. This just goes to show that if you put in the effort, then you will get what you want out of it.

Every 20 Steps Project

This project was fun. It was cool to go around and see every ordinary things, and see a different perspective of them. During this project, every 20 steps that we took, we had to pause, and take a photo of whatever was close to us. It was difficult finding new objects every 20 steps to take photos of.

Leading Lines Project

I think this was one of the most challenging projects that we have done. It was challenging trying to find lines everywhere that led to something. I think that this was my best photo though. I liked how there are a ton of lines everywhere.

3D Form Project

I thought that this project was really fun! It was cool getting up close to objects and seeing how different they look when you’re up close! I learned how to get up close to different objects, and to focus on one part of an object up close. Out of all of the projects we’ve done, I think this one was my favorite.

Man-Made Texture Project

I thought that this project was pretty fun! It was cool getting up close to objects and seeing all of the little details that they have that we don’t usually see. I learned how to take detailed photos of objects up close.

Nature Texture Project

I thought that this project was really fun! I enjoyed going into the woods and looking at different perspectives of nature. We went up close to nature and tried to look for different textures. I had to learn to be patient when it comes to photography.

Color in Photography Project

I really enjoyed this project! We used a new saturation tool and made a ton of different edits on the photos. This was when I really started to understand photoshop.

Bird's Eye View Project

I thought that this project was fun. It was funny taking the photos, and using different angles to take photos. I learned how to crop out people from photos, and put them on a different photo.

Pop Art Project

This project was fun. It was weird taking photos of people close up. I learned how to make a photo black and white, and then color it in. I thought that the pop art process was fun though!

Hockney Joiners Project

I thought that this project was fun and interesting. It was weird taking photos of people up close. I don’t prefer this style of work. The project was easy, but time consuming in my opinion. I think that this project should be taught in future classes because you get to learn something new that you’ve never done before. I also got to get Mrs. Carmack Starbucks.

Fantasy World Project

I thought that this project was fun. I already knew how to do all of these skills, so the project was easy. It was just really time consuming for me. I wanted to make sure that everything looked like it fit in with what was going on. I think we should do more of these in the future, but I think we should do a giant one, and have like 2 weeks to do it. I think that that would be cool.

DIY Photoshop Week Project

I thought that this DIY Week was fun! I enjoy DIY weeks because I feel like I have more freedom when it comes to editing photos however I want. The easiest skill that I did was the fantasy world, and the most difficult skill was the face swap. It’s hard to make the faces look like they belong on the other face without it getting all messy.

This was my favorite class all year. I liked getting to learn more about photography, and making new friends. My favorite project was probably the DIY weeks, or the color in photography project. I'm really glad that I decided to take this class, and I can't wait for photography II!
