1)Take the verb IR and conjugate it propery:

I-voy

you-vas

he/she/you(formal)-va

we-vamos

they/you all-van

2)Then add an a, always

3) Then put an infinitive(un conjugated verb)ex: to run-correr, to sing-cantar, to dance-bailar, to swim-bailar

Conjugations of ir are as follows:

Yo form- voy

Tu form- vas

El/Ella/Usted form- va

Nosotros- vamos

Vosotros- vais

Ellos/Ellas/Ustedes-van

Once you conjugate ir to the right form, 

you add the personal a and then make

the adjective agree.

Voy- i go

Vas- you go

Va- he she you

vamos-

van-

then u add an a

then u attach the correct infinitive

Ex: Voy a correr.

Present Tense!

Ir means to go. The forms of ir are in the chart below. You wold then put A meaning to. So far you put together Voy a which means i am going to....your next step is to add the infinitive. What's an infinitive? It is a verb that has not been conjugated. So lets say you want to say i am going to swim. You would use your form of ir, being voy. Add your a and to swim is nadar, So your sentence would conclude to Voy a nadar. Use your verbs and forms of ir shown in the chart below.
