When i was younger, my son used to play at playground and i always had to follow him. He passed away due to cancer and that memory is one of the most important to me. Mall because i get to meet my friends and i get to  have laughs with them.

Most squatters were occupied with cultivating and raising pigs. The others were sellers, assembly line laborers, mechanics or local partners. 

The squatters began moving out in 1962 because of expanded remuneration rates and other commonsense affectations offered by the Government. Freedom work could initiate and the redevelopment began in mid 1964. 

Toa Payoh New Town is Singapore's second most established satellite town and the first to be worked by the Housing and Development Board after the advancement of Queenstown by the Singapore Improvement Trust in the late 1950s. Prior to its time as a private town, Toa Payoh was a squatter region, with a noticeable horticultural legacy in the area.

All through the 1960s up till the start of the 1980s, the town, much like Geylang today, was notorious for its bad habit, being home to some of Singapore's biggest wrongdoing syndicates and packs. Striking cases, for example, the awful Toa Payoh custom homicides of 1981, brought the town across the board consideration. Accordingly, Toa Payoh has likewise been begat by the media as the "Chicago of the East" and the "Chicago of Singapore".
