Nowadays teenagers and other young adults seem to be less and less interest on politics because they probably do not have the education about it. They usually follow what their parents believe so if they hear them saying that the government is corrupt they at going to believe the same thing because that's what seems right for them.

Although youth is not involved in politics they are involved in other community projects which is good for the community and other people around. But it would be good if they could get more involved with the government because the future depends on their vote in some way since they the new generation.

What he is saying is that sometimes is good to not get everything we want because if we were to select what we want to hear from the media about politics everyone would select the minimum and would not be well informed
