According to the World Health Organization (2024), about 830 million people worldwide have diabetes. Innovative technology such as the Omnipod has made diabetes more manageable. Making Diabetes management more convenient for the user increases compliance and improves overall health. This study involved 24 diabetic patients who implemented an Automatic Delivery System (AID) into their diabetic regimen. At the end of the 8-week study, the average Hgb A1c decreased from 9.4% to 8.1% (Davis et al., 2023).
