Setting up Learning Environments could include teacher's choosing from a menu of options for PD or starting the school year with school wide and class wide SMART goals. Learning opportunities can be offered both in house from co-workers as well as from outside presenters, or online software/job aides etc.  

As each individual can customize their learning to meet the goals of the school and their classroom, collaboration is key. Minimum monthly meetings of collaboration should be held to share out on best practices and to garner advice from colleagues. Live meetings or virtual meetings can be held, but it is recommended that a real-time discussion forum be accessible for teachers to communicate and collaborate between meetings.
