In still raising 9 children, I am constantly being humbled by each child. They are so different and because of the different ages, they are growing and learning differently. I feel this is Allah (swt) helping me to develop to have sabr and learn how to have mercy with the amanah we have been blessed with. All of the techniques mentioned in this workshop definitely work if we reflect as parents. Workshops like this are amazing and definitely needed. 
Emotional connection and physical affection with children is essential. 
I have to get past my cultural barriers and be more confident in my decisions with the my children. 
Every parent is going through similar issues and fighting a battle. 
Alhumdulillah for being a Muslim and having Islam in our lives. 
Be more mindful and in the moment. 
Stay away from phones, tv and have one on one time with your children.
