2) CCA Teacher Must do something to defuse the situation when it happened so parents can see that negative behavior is addressed.

3) Speak to CCA leaders (seniors), to discuss what has evolved to come to that situation. 

4) Sit down with Coach, have an honest conversation, make sure there are common values: respect and sportsmanship. Good to have a co-CCA teacher together, to have another person with an objective lens. 

 

On a separate occasion (eg: start of year):

5) Establish ground rules. Lessons on sportsmanship, manage emotions. Coach can also correct the team, does not be only teacher to correct behavior. Demarket boundaries between Coach and CCA teacher in communicating expectations and working together to reach a common goal. 

6) Open communication to parents at start of year to establish rapport with parents.
