  • During the american landing at utah beach the oldest guy in operation Overlord ( D - Day ) Teddy Roosevelt Jr. lead his men to victory on The wrong beach! ( but this proved to be beneficial to the Americans because how the land was formed. From there he was able to redirect the landing to him and defeat the Germans )
  • When Paris was invaded by Nazi Germany many french resistance groups popped up to fight against there German invader. These groups will go on to help the allies in Operation Overlord.    
  • During a navel patrol the Royal Navy found a German U - Boat and forced it to rise up as the Germans abandoned the vessel some british sailors had enough time to go in the sub and found a fully working code machine. This founding was massive with it the allies could break the German Enigma code with this discovery the tides of war changed 
  • With the discovery of the code machine historians said it shorted the war by two years.
  • Hitler wasn't German he was born in austria - hungary therefore makes him Austrian - Hungarian
