I enjoyed this project. I think all of my Polaroids look pretty good. It was weird to use Canva as our editing platform instead of Photoshop.

Clone Photography

I enjoyed this project. We learned how to clone ourselves and make it look like there were 10 of us in one room. The editing part was easy, but it was difficult taking the photos. Just because you had to make sure that everything looks the same and that you would be able to see all of the clones.

Professional Headshots

I thought that this project was fun. I enjoyed taking the professional photos, but it was weird taking photos of each other. I thought that the editing on my photos turned out pretty well.

DIY Photoshop Week 1

This project was really fun! I enjoy doing DIY weeks because I feel like I have more freedom of what I want to do. I would like to have more of these DIY weeks in the future.

6 Word Memoirs

I thought that this project was fun. It was really fun creating our 6 word memoirs and having to choose between all of our options. It was a little difficult to edit the photos because I was gone, and I had to use a knockoff wannabe photoshop website.

Portrait Illustrations

I really enjoyed this project. I’m glad we had a long time to work on it so that we can really focus on all of the details and make sure that it looks realistic.

I thought that mine turned out pretty well. I enjoyed shading and making everything look like it had a shadow. I would want to do this project again in the future.

Animal Face Illustration

I really enjoyed this project. I wish I had more time to do some shading because it looks a little weird. Maybe if I have extra time later in the year then I will finish it. I would want to do this project again. I think that if I had some extra time, then this would have turned out really good!

Surreal Levitation

This project was fun. The editing was easy since we’ve already done other projects using the same editing techniques. This is my favorite photo because I think it looks the best. It sort of reminds me of like an artist’s album cover.

I really enjoyed this project. It was cool using a new photoshop method and using new tools. I thought my projects turned out well.

Low Poly Vector Art Portrait

This project was alright. It was just very time consuming because you had to made sure that all of the triangles aligned perfectly. I think that the final outcome looks really good though. I think it was worth the wait.

Custom Playing Cards

This project was a lot of fun! It was fun going around the school to find teachers to take pictures of, and it was funny placing their face on a card. I think our cards turned out great! After the project, we then went around the school again to give all of the teachers their playing card. All of the teachers thought it was hilarious, and we got some great reactions.

I enjoyed this project. I think I enjoyed it because it was just us trying out new edits and trying to take good photos in general. I liked how there wasn’t a specific guide that we had to follow when taking the photos.

I enjoyed this project. I liked how we had more freedom when it came to taking the photos and editing them. I wish we had longer to edit them though because I feel like I could have done a better job.

DIY Photoshop Week 2

This DIY Photoshop week was fun. It’s always challenging to make sure that I get the projects done on time though, just because I like to take my time. It’s difficult to do one project a day, and make sure that it looks good.

I thought that this project was really fun. While editing the face photos, I started looking around on Photoshop for new tools to use. I found a tool called “Liquify” and this morphed everyone’s face to look funny.

This has been my favorite project all year. Mainly just because I messed around the whole time making people look funny. I enjoyed the freedom and the edit styles.

This was my favorite class all year. I liked getting to learn more about photography, and making new friends. My favorite projects were the choice photos, or the portrait illustrations. I'm really glad that I decided to take this class, and I can't wait for graphic design next year!
