In the article, the life cycle analysis method (LCA) is used to evaluate the energy consumption and greenhouse gases, where the Natural Gas Distributed Energy System Project is analyzed, and compared with other 5 cases with different energies such as coal, its energy consumption and emissions performance. Projects based on renewable energies are analyzed differently, since costs and fuel emissions are considerably small in renewable technology. Energy, consumption and emissions during life cycle processes should not be neglected, therefore, the life cycle analysis (LCA) method is frequently used to analyze projects based on renewable energies since Results provide a solid basis for future research in this field. We could also show that renewable energy projects have the potential to develop in the future, so policymakers should support the development of gas from distributed energy systems projects and additional research should be done to make better decisions about the use of clean energies

According to ISO 14040 and 14044, in an ACV study there are 4 phases, which are important to mention, such as:
Definition of objectives and scopes: This explains the reasons why the study is developed. Here, aspects such as the breadth, depth and detail of the study are defined.
Inventory of the Life Cycle (ICV): In this phase, specific aspects that can cause an impact during the life cycle of a product are identified and quantified.
Life Cycle Impact Assessment (EICV): The purpose in this phase is to classify, characterize and assess the importance generated by the potential impacts
Interpretation of results: In this phase an interpretation is made that combines the results of the (ICV) and the (EICV); with the purpose of displaying conclusions and recommendations that facilitate decision making.

Renewable energies favor the environment positively, since they are a source of clean, inexhaustible and competitively growing energies. In this regard it is known that these are generated through solar panels, wind, etc. According to Hansia, Xiongwenb, Xunmina, (2016), renewable energy is capable of developing in the future. Regarding the Distributed Energy System project based on solar energy, it should be noted that this has a positive but limited effect on energy saving and emission reduction. It is limited by solar resources in Sichuan province.

Based on information provided by Rodriguez, (Sf), it is necessary to highlight that the main function of the life cycle analysis is to provide information that contributes to the identification of opportunities for improvement, so that they are confronted with those associated risks, and Based on this, make the necessary decisions that lead to improve the performance of the environment. In agreement, the analysis of the life cycle, allows to compare between processes of the same product, or between products of different materials; therefore, this information is applied directly in determining aspects to identify the evaluation and quantification of environmental aspects related to the life cycle, such as the design and development of products, the continuous improvement of processes, planning strategic, green marketing and the development of public policies.
