I feel seen from both the researcher and student perspective. This article just reminds me of why it’s imperative for literature to also be inclusive and include people as a source of knowledge. The fact that the researchers maneuvered there research methods to be flexible and accessible to gain the most valuable information, speaks to the amount of awareness and care these researchers had not just for the paper/reach search but also for their participants.

• Disclosure could serve as an empowering act of connection and advocacy but also represented emotional and physical labor that institutions often failed to recognize.

I wonder if codebooks could work as well not when identifying themes but when color coding for literature reveiws...
