Create a new sticky note. Add your name for the title. Then, select one of the five articles that you read this week to discuss. What did you learn from the article that you didn't know before? What facts stood out in the article for you? What important details would you pass on from the article and tell someone else? Then, after making your post, comment on at least two other students' posts - they do not have to be from our class.

On average, 6 Americans die every day from alcohol poisoning. The thing I would pass on from this article is how to help others if they show the symptoms of alcohol poisoning, so they could help someone if they are ever in that situation.

In this article I learned that many teens binge drink, and that many teens drink and do not know that drinking can kill them or ruin their life. Some things that I would pass on to other teens about drinking are that they should not drink because it could seriously hurt them or hurt their families, and if they are peer pressured to get out of the situation as quick as they can like saying I have to work or something like that.

In the article "One Deadly Night" I learned that teens die from alcohol poisoning everyday. I didn't know that alcohol poisoning was a thing but I am glad that I know the risks of drinking under age. The fact that stood out to me the most in the article was that teens think that they only consume 3 cups but they actually are consuming 7-8 cups of alcohol. The important details that I would pass on to someone else is that you can get alcohol poisoning for if you drink under age and that you consume more than you drink. Also that alcohol can affect a teens body more than an adults because of how a teen's body is more resistant to the typical signals that your body tells you.

I learned ways to calm down before a big game like repeating lines to myself that I am going to do good. I can use thins like this because I love playing in sports and I get nervous when it comes to big games. If I had to tell someone else about this article and what it was good for I would tell them that this article would be good for you because you always seemed stressed out.

In the Article, “What Are You?” I learned that you need to be careful with what you say and do. There are kids out here in this world that may not be the same as you, but that doesn’t mean you have to be mean to them. Allow them to know they aren’t weird, and continue showing care and compassion for them. In this article I was amazed that Lexi stepped up and made a change. She made a charity for others, and she set goals for herself to show love and compassion for others. Lexi was inspired by the essay she had to write in a class. This helped her realize that she was there to help others become a person who doesn’t care what others think. Or help others realize that you can’t just make assumptions about someone that may not be the same as you. From this article I would want to pass on that you should be kind to all. Even if they may not seem the same as you, we are all different in our own unique ways, and you have to continue showing that for everyone.

The article that I learned most from was One Deadly Night. I learned that underage drinking is a greater problem than what we think especially if 90% of teen age kids are binge drinking. I knew some of the things you should do if someone drank too much such as rolling them over, and talking to them to try and keep them from falling asleep. I thought so many of the facts were interesting, I never thought that alcohol was such a big issue.

I chose the ''One deadly night''. I didn't know that 90% of teens drink when they are underage. I also didn't know that they made drinks that look like soda but they are actually alcohol and thats how they get teens to drink it. I The details I would pass on would be how to help people out if they are drunk so they don't die and they can live another day. The ting that stood out in the article is how many teens drink underage and die from drinking too much alcohol when they aren't 21 yet and they are already drinking before the age they should be.

I chose "One Deadly Night." I chose One Deadly Night because it teaches kids and people about the things that can happen to you and your body, when you drink. Drinking is very bad for people and nobody should drink because when they start drinking, they get addicted to it. The thing that stood out in the article is the fact that people die from alcohol, before they aren't even 21 yet. I also learned that if someone gets alcohol poising, you roll them over and make sure that they stay awake. Then you or your friend go get help.

One of the five articles that I read this week to discuss is the first article I read which was called "One Deadly Night". What I learned from this article that I didn't know before is that a couple of shots of Liquor is enough to get alcohol poisoning. A fact that stood out to me in the this article is when is talks about how 90 percent of teens drink when they are underage. I would of never guessed that much teens did that. An important detail I would pass on from the article and tell someone else is that you shouldn't drink too much because it could cause Alcohol poisoning.

I really liked the ''should sodas have a warning label?'' I liked this one the most because, I don't drink sodas or cokes, like at all, and I have found another reason to tell my mother to stop drinking them because they raise your blood sugar, which makes it even more probable to get diabetes, and I don't think my sister or mother would want that, so maybe now they can stop drinking so many at a time, but most of them end up half full and left around the house anyway, and there's so much sugar, 10 tablespoons, that's disgusting! Who would want to drink liquid sugar with acid? Gross.
