Across the week, your classroom will meet inspiring people working in wildlife, conservation, science, forestry and environmental education across the UK. Pupils will discover the wide range of jobs that help protect nature, from working outdoors in seas, cities and woodlands to supporting conservation behind the scenes.

Together, we’ll explore what environmental careers really look like, the many different pathways into these roles, and the skills young people need to succeed, such as teamwork, communication, curiosity and problem-solving.

HOP is here to support young people explore their options after school or college.

There’s no right or wrong path — just the one that’s right for you.

The programme includes four engaging modules covering:

·  Our commitment to Health & Safety (Home Safe Every Day)

Created with accessibility in mind, the programme can be completed on a PC, tablet, or smartphone (Android/iPhone). As the programme provides structured learning, industry insight and reflective activities, students are able to count this towards CPD learning.

What to Expect: A WLV campus-based masterclass where students would attend the university for the day. They would be involved in a CSI crime scene investigation activity at our bespoke Locard crime scene house, together with a classroom-based session involving evidence recovery, analysis and interpretation activities. Also, information provided on what it is like to study Forensic Science at the University of Wolverhampton.
