Charlie and Bill: Charlie and Bill were also very close. Bill saw that Charlie was a very smart boy. Charlie really liked being around Bill, he enjoyed the assignments that Bill would give him. Bill also became very fond of Charlie. A time where you can tell that Bill cared about Charlie was when he invited him over to his house and they had dinner together. Bill considered him a friend more than a student. A time where you can tell Charlie really enjoyed Bill's company was when Bill was leaving and Charlie said “it was hard saying goodbye to him after  class was over” and when another student called Charlie a “teachers pet” but he didn't mind it. 

Charlie and Dad: Charlie and his dad aren't the closest but they still have a very good relationship. Charlie really cares about his dad and always wants to make him proud. At Christmas Charlie wanted to get the perfect gift for his dad: “I just wanted to know what to buy because I love him.” Charlie's dad is a role model for him. He was the first person to teach him about certain things for example how to handle his first kiss or his first girlfriend, and how to be safe while doing those things. 

Charlie and Aunt Helen-  Helen was Charlie’s favorite aunt, who moved in with his family. At the end of the novel, Charlie realizes that his aunt molested him every Saturday night. Since Charlie represses the memories of his abuse for much of the story, he generally thinks of Helen because the only person in his otherwise cold family to point out his affection, and he also loved that she gave him books to read. Helen encompasses a recurring role in his memories, almost like a ghost of his repressed trauma.

Charlie and Sam- Sam has a strong bond with Charlie. She helps him open up physically and emotionally. They first meet at a football game when Charlie comes to sit with Sam and Patrick. At a party at Bob's house, we see the caring side of Sam when she gets angry at Bob for giving Charlie a weed brownie and is one of the only people not to laugh at him. When Charlie returns to the hospital, Sam is away at college, yet she sends him letters.

 Charlie goes to a party with Patrick and Sam and accidentally finds out about Patrick and Brad

He is happy, he uses exclamation points and he seems to enjoy when everyone asks him questions.

What Events Happens In This Setting: 
Bill gives Charlie his books and the fight between Brad and Charlie happens 

How Does Charlie Feel In This Setting: 
He likes his conversations with Bill but it feels like he doesn’t really fit in the school because he doesn’t talk to that many other students than Sam and Patrick

What Events Happens In This Setting: 
He finds out about his Aunts death and he found out about his sister’s pregnancy his house is also where all of his relatives meet up for Charlie’s sister’s graduation 

How Does Charlie Feel In This Setting: 
It feel like a safe place and the mood can sometimes be intense when drama happens but other then those moments the mood seems to be nice

What Events Happens In This Setting:
He hang out with Sam and Patrick and his friends but also sees Sam and Patrick hanging out out with Craig and Brad one time and feels sad

How Does Charlie Feel In This Setting: 
He enjoyed when they had the conversation about things in general and it feels like he enjoys all of his moments with Patrick and Sam At Big Boys
