However, it is important that parents teach children how to protect themselves when using the internet, and when such necessary requirements aren't taken seriously by your child then a punishment is imperative, Even so this does not mean that you should take excessive measures that include depriving your child of something that they truly need(that includes their electronic device) or physically/mentally mistreating your child. But, it is recommended that you encourage your child to take a small break from their electronics and commit to something more productive. I do not think kids should have limited time on their devices because if a kid is doing their work on their device, and run out of time they can not finish their work. The parents of the student may give the kid extended time, but they would be giving their kid extended time almost everyday since their child has to do extra work for school. I think that it CANT be too low because if it is for example a limit of 3 hours per day but school is 4 hours online then how is that going to work?  I feel like if there was less screen time on homework, school and all of that because that would take a lot of hours off of the screen. There should still be time to do things that you like on the screen like connect with others and watch shows. Not all the screen time should be used doing things like school and homework. But there should be LOTS of time off screen doing other things.
