I woke up early and made a simple breakfast. After the hearty meal, I studied fir my Physics test that was on Monday. After I'm done studying, I rested for a while and went to 99 Speed Mart and NJ Fresh Mart for some groceries. Then, I took a shower and went for a nap. I woke up at around 2.00 p.m. and read "manga"(Japanese comics) on my smartphone. I went down for lunch and studied after. It was a short study session. I continued to read manga until it was night. I didn't have dinner as my lunch was for two meals and I had supper instead. Then, I went to sleep.

The Best Part of Being a College Student

Being a college student is what most high schoolers look forward to. Their amazement are not unwarranted as college life is as good as it sounds. One of them is that college students don't have to wear uniforms when going to class. Even through there are several dress codes that should be followed, this mostly gives liberty to us to indulge in our own fashion sense. Aside from that, we are given the chance to be independent as most of us are living away from their parents or guardians and have a lot opportunity to mature as <del>they</del> time goes by. As college students are away from their parents, we often get to spend more time with friends and classmates, may it be studying, completing projects or just relaxing. In a nutshell, being a college student is fun and great as we are given much more liberty compared to when we were in high school.
Well-written. Please note my suggestions.

An Interesting Industry Blog

I've always been interested in cooking since I was little as my mother rarely cooks but when she does, there will never be any leftovers left. Because of that, I have always searched for a lot of recipes online that I could try. Some recipes turned out good, while some are just downright horrible. But, one blog that never failed me is a blog called Food Wishes. This blog is quite unique as the author not only gives great recipes but also posts high quality videos on Youtube on how to make the dish. This is especially helpful to those just starting to learn the basics of the kitchen. His recipes range from simple sauces to homemade cheese to steaks. Here's a link to his blog
http://foodwishes.blogspot.my/
Sounds really good

A Great Article

As I'm interested in cooking, I've always wondered about a few cooking methods such as adding alcohol to a dish. It is said that the alcohol burns off, but that is until I read this article http://www.culinarylore.com/food-science:alcohol-doesnt-completely-burn-off-in-cooking . I think that this article is doing a good job of spreading the truth about the exaggeration of most chefs claiming that since alcohol is volatile, a small amount of heat is more than enough to "burn off" the alcohol from the food and leaving only the taste of it. It is a good thing to know for those who cannot consume alcohol for certain reasons, may it be because of religion or even someone recovering from alcoholism.

Considering that I'm still in my foundation studies, my future isn't quite determined yet. Assuming that I pass my foundation studies and get some sort of financial aid, I can see myself completing my houseman ship at a hospital, getting ready to face the world in about a year later as a full-fledged doctor. I might be looking out for a nice house for rent and learn a few recipes that I wouldn't get bored with. I'd also be able to have an extra bit of money allocated for my food costs that will allow me to cook an expensive meal once in a while.

As soon as I woke up, I checked my phone for any important notifications. Then, I sat on the sofa at the living room and played some games on my smartphone. After about three hours have passed, I turned on my laptop and started studying physics as there was an examination on the day after. Just as I finished studying half of the materials, I was invited to go for lunch at the cafeteria below the apartment. After a hearty meal, I took a nice shower and continued with my studying until night with several breaks in between. Finally, I played some games before I hit the sack around midnight.

One of my favourite quotes is "The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today". I found this quote a few weeks ago while I was surfing the internet and reading through a few random forums. For me, these words reflect what I should be doing as I am a college student and everything that I do today will pay off almost immediately.
