I think that lunar geology (using a spacecraft orbiting around the moon to measure small gravity variations) could be very interesting. Also landing on the bottom of a crater (where some inner minerals have been exposed by collision) would be interesting. We could know some more about Moon formation...

I would like to see radio astronomy installations on the far side of the moon. It is protected from the Earth and you could use a natural crater. Otherwise, more research on the water trapped in polar craters.

From the Moon we believe we know everything, however, the human being is always in constant search for knowledge, to seek the origin of things and life itself. Other manned missions to the Moon, I believe that if our planet is so exposed to adverse climatic conditions, because of the same man and the governments, that thinking about going to live in another world could be the salvation for many.

Majority of the moon has yet to be explored including the entire far side one.

I had watched back to 2009 the NASA's reaserch for signs of ice water on the Moon and i was excited. Further research for ice water it would be interesting.

I remember a ... rather chatty pupil of mine, when hearning that no sound is transmitted without machines in the outer space, he suggested an idea. Plant trees to produce oxygen, as means for sound transmittion for people to talk even on the moon (see The Martian).

As we know from NASA site , the story of the moon’s history and processes is interesting in its own right, but it has also subtly shifted perspectives on our own origins. As an example, one of the most significant discoveries of the 1980s was the giant impact 65 million years ago in Mexico that led to the extinction of the dinosaurs, allowing the subsequent rise of mammals.

When you start a research you do not have any preconceived ideas, but obviously you have to start somewhere. I think that next lunar mission should study the dark side of the Moon, being less explored it can bring surprises and because it is believed that there would be good conditions for capturing and retaining volatile substances such as water that otherwise would evaporate and scatter in space.

The lunar South Pole because it has areas of permanent darkness and extreme cold where water ice and other chemicals can become trapped and it can teach us about water and life forming chemistry on Earth. Also, we can see our galaxy and planets as never before.

The poles should be studied in the next lunar missions because they might contain water trapped by the cold temperatures. Then, if water is found, huge possibilities for the evolution of mankind are open. Further innvestigation and possible human settlement on the Moon might take place and space discovery could go beyond present limits.
