Ihsan

It is to worship Allah as if you see Him, know that He sees you

Man possesses nothing in this world. Everything belongs to Allah, including our lives. We perform ibadah and amal (good deeds) for the sake of Allah. We must worship Him wholeheartedly without wishing anything back in return (sincere) because He always sees us, even though we cannot see Him

   Nature's beauty is proof of Allah SWT power. We must be kind as a way to show gratitude and is a form of sadaqah

Whatever hardship we went through, to Allah we return back to

"Behold! In the creation of the heavens and earth, and the alternation of night and day, -there are indeed signs for men of understanding."

Everything was created by Allah SWT; it is a proof of His mighty power. Despite the world we live in and are surrounded by, we sometimes forget our position and must go back to Allah.

WHY DO WE WORSHIP ALLAH SWT?

• our intention will aligned with what we do that resulted in positive outcome

• we instill gratefulness in ourselves for all the things Allah SWT had provided

a category of people that always be grateful of Allah SWT, repenting constantly to be forgive of sins and to ask for a good life and faith

The awareness of what's bad and right, and the promise towards as if we obey.

1. Beneficial knowledge granted by Allah, which we practice

2. Something that prevents a person from doing wrong or harmful actions

Ibadah

Any action that Allah is pleased with, done with the intention for Allah's sake.

How can we gain hikmah through worship?

1. Sincerity (Ikhlas)

2. Following the correct way (Quran and Sunnah)

3. Understanding the true purpose of worship

1. Ibadah trains dicipline

   • develop self-control

   • manage desires

   • control anger

   • organize time

2. Ibadah purifies our inner self

Source of Hikmah

And I did not create jinn and mankind except to worship Me. -Surah Adh-Dhariyat, 51:56

1. Our heart directed solely to Allah SWT during prayer

2. Engaging the soul and heart with feelings of fear and love towards Allah

Ways to Attain Khusyuk in Solat

1. Understand the meaning of the recitation in solat

2. Pray at the beginning of the prescribed time

3. Avoid external distractions -phones, noise

4. Always rembember that Allah is watching us while we pray

5. Make du'a, asking Allah for khusyuk

• Cleanse the heart from greed and love for worldly things

• Train us to be generous , and to accept what Allah has decreed

b) Tawakkul (Reliance on Allah)

• When we give zakah/sadaqah, we let go of our wealth believing that Allah will replace it with greater goodness

c) Ukhuwwah (Brotherhood)

• When we help other, we build a sense of empathy and love within the community

• Those who helped will feel valued and not left out

The Revelation between Ukhuwwah and Sadaqah

1. Even a small sadaqah is counted by Allah

   • It may seem small to us, but it is great in the sight of Allah

2. Through that small act of kindness, ukhuwwah can be formed

   • When we constantly do small acts of good for those around us, that's what builds heartfelt connections

     
     

   One small act of kindness --> Open someone's heart --> The person also does good in return --> A loving community is eventually eventually formed

A visit to the Baitullah al-Haram in Makkah during the designated months of Hajj to perform specific acts of worship according to its conditions.

1. The fifth pillar of Islam

2. It is obligatory once in a lifetime for those who are capable

And complete the Hajj and ‘Umrah for Allah.

b) ‘Umrah

A visit to the Baitullah al-Haram in Makkah at any time of the year to perform specific acts of worship according to its conditions.

Virtues Found in Hajj and ‘Umrah

1. Al-Tadhiyyah (Sacrifice)

• Sacrificing wealth, time, and energy

• In full submission to Allah’s command

• A proof of our love for Allah

2. Taqwa (God-Consciousness)

• The constant awareness that Allah is always watching us

• We become extremely cautious, fearing to spoil our Hajj
