Messaging!

• When you do BNI, you are working on your business.

• When you actively participate in BNI events, you are creating opportunities for growth for your business, you are expanding your network.

• When you attend BNI events, you are maximizing your membership.

Tell Stories- there are many members who have powerful success stories in BNI identify them, choose the most recent ones. Use these members as ambassadors in your chapter to enroll members in chapter events.

You may also take videos- use them in coffee sessions, BODs, VIS, chapter marketing materials

Enroll into your cheerleading cause the natural influencers in your chapter, choose people who represents dominant groups/ clicks in your chapter, be in relationships with them and have them support your events cause!

Sometimes, it is not the message, but people respond to certain types of messengers. People they resonate more with, thus they listen and absorb the message (though repeatedly said like a broken record) easily.

ECs support the goals set by the TOP 3, events are created around these goals... and not the other way around.

Ex. fixated on a Halloween Party... do not add a business networking component to it just to make it a BNI chapter event. Begin with Goal... then ideate around it.

If chapter is small, focus on BOD, Master Connector Day can follow once chapter size has reached a significant and stable size. MCD is facilitator driven...a "combo" of YP Lai info-laden facilitation crossed with a Miguel energy and "showmanship" to keep visitors engaged. MCD is more effective when done F2F.

next EC RT meeting:

Bring existing materials that the chapter uses for BODs. from Deck to script for thorough review.

• Planning and executing engaging events can attract new member that can foster stronger connections among chapter members.

#2. Diverse member preferences, attendance and engagement.

• BNI Chapter comprise members from various industries and backgrounds, each with their own preferences and expectations for events. Balancing these needs while planning events can be challenging.

#3. Mentorship, feedback and evaluation.

• Valuable guidance and support from the previous EC can be helpful. Also establishing a feedback mechanism for evaluating events and soliciting input from chapter members can help identify areas for improvement and make adjustments accordingly.
