Overall, I think we are progressing at a pretty good pace in English class. The material is understandable, although I have found some complications with the past perfect, which can be a bit confusing for me at times. Additionally, in the last exam, the listening part was quite challenging and I feel a bit unsure about it. Aside from those details, everything else is going well, and I'm feeling pretty comfortable with the language.

The English subject has been a positive experience for me up to now. Finally, the result of the exam was good, although I aim to get a better grade in the upcoming exams. The new unit we started recently is quite understandable for me, and I don’t see any complications so far. Additionally, I think the subject is progressing at a very good pace for my liking, which motivates me to keep learning and improving. I'm happy with my progress

I am doing well in English class, although the grades I'm getting aren't as high as usual. The exercises in class are going well, and we are progressing at a good pace. However, today we had a writing assignment that was complicated because we had to come up with a story from a video that didn't have much content. Despite that, putting that aside, I think the subject is developing positively and I am learning a lot.

This week in class, we worked on some topics that are a bit more complicated than what we did before. For me, it went pretty well. The biggest challenge I faced was with non-defining relative clauses, but I found the rest of the material easy to understand.

I think the pace of the class is good; we’re not going too slow, and everything makes sense. I feel happy with how I did this week because I kept up with my assignments. However, to do even better next week, I want to avoid leaving everything until the last minute and try to submit the padlet before Monday. That way, I can manage my time better.

This week has been a bit unusual in class because we only had a few days. With the holiday and the exam on Wednesday, we only had two English classes. During those classes, we focused on reviewing, and I felt good; I didn’t have any doubts and understood everything. I was confident about how I would do on the exam, and I think I did quite well. Although we don’t have the grades yet, I feel confident about the way I did the exam.

In this first month of the course, we have been working on unit 3 of the book, which mainly focuses on the passive voice, although it also includes vocabulary. At the beginning of the unit, I found it a bit difficult to understand how to form the passive voice, but after doing exercises and paying attention to the explanations, I quickly understood how to do it, and now I think I do it quite well. The listenings in this unit have been relatively easy for me, and in general, everything that is not grammar hasn’t been a big problem. Still, I am sure that even if I do well, there is always room for improvement and for making tasks even easier to complete.

At home, I used to study English directly from the book and my class notes, but lately, I have found it easier and more fun to study thanks to the interactive book from Burlington English that our teacher provided us. Although sometimes the classes feel slow because of explanations about things I already understand, there are other times when my classmates’ questions are very helpful and an effective way to keep learning. Sometimes they even help me realize that what I think is right isn’t always correct. For instance, when I believe I have something right and a classmate asks a question, I realize my answer was wrong or could be improved.

Right now, I feel quite comfortable with English since it has always been a language that I love and would like to keep learning. On the other hand, I think I'm doing pretty well, but I'm always aware that there is room for improvement and that I'm eager to keep doing so.

Since the first submission until this second one, we have been studying Unit 4, even though we took the exam for the previous unit during this time. I found the exam quite easy, although I had some problems with the reading part.

In Unit 4, we are learning about genitives and infinitives, modal verbs, and the workbook also includes connectors, along with the vocabulary for the unit. I am understanding this unit quite well, but honestly, I think it’s the topic that’s most difficult for me to understand. This is because sometimes I don’t understand why in some cases a possessive cannot be used and vice versa. I have always had the philosophy of "putting what sounds better," and most of the time it has worked for me. However, with this topic, I am realizing that sometimes I need to pay attention to the rules and the advice given by the teacher.

Today, there was a deadline to submit activities from the digital book, which is one of the tools provided by the teacher that has helped me the most. It’s also a more fun way to study for exams; it even makes me want to do it.

I still feel quite comfortable with my English because, from my point of view, it is a subject that I do well in and that I will always want to keep learning and practicing.
