Keep in mind, these are students we share. When they are served in SPED they are not just the responsibility of the SPED teacher. The SPED teacher has to conduct weekly progress monitoring on most/if not all of the student's goals. It would be impossible to do a DRA every week.

- Bring anything that represents where the child is at currently in their education. This can be positive or negative, but either way it ultimately helps the team see how the child is performing in all areas.
- Be an active participant. Do not think that you do not have something to say. Most times, your SPED teacher and the parents appreciate having someone else take the stage for a moment. WE PROMISE!
- If you suggest goals, know these goals should be obtainable, but are also something the child should be working on all year long (not as flexible as RTI).

Place value is definitely something that our students struggle with. This ultimately leads to difficulty in their ability to regroup.

In reading, I would say there are many gaps. Some of these gaps go as far as knowing vowels vs. consonants.
