Our group have chosen pollution as our project theme. Shuwaikh Industrial is closely related to this theme because there are a lot of factories in this area that causes pollution. Shuwaikh Industrial area is located in the southwest of Kuwait bay. One shocking fact about Shuwaikh Industrial area is the presence of mercury in the Kuwait bay sediment due to salt and chlorine plant activity since 1984. Another interesting fact is that disturbance of the mercury-contaminated silt sediment would cause the spreading of the mercury upward. I would like to add that we need to find solution to replace the sediment without spreading the mercury in the area and prevent dumping industrial wastes in the bay. I chose this place for 2 main reasons. First, There are a lot of factories in Shuwaikh Industrial area and this area located in the southwest of Kuwait bay. Second, Pollution affects marine life and the power and desalination plant take the water from the bay to desalinated. I would like to let other people know about this place because it's important to spread awareness of the environmental problem.

My teammates and I have chosen pollution in Kuwait as our project theme. Sulaibikhat beach is closely related to this theme because it is one of the most affected beaches in our area with plastic pollution. You can find Sulaibikhat in the Capital Governorate of Kuwait. One disappointing fact about Sulaibikhat is that the Public Authority for the Environment admitted that the level of pollution in the Sulaibikhat area has risen above the normal range. Another important fact is that as a result of the leakage of industrial liquid and plastic pollutants, the Environment Public Authority has said that there are negative impacts that threaten the safety of the marine environment. It is also worth mentioning that the authority’s reports designated that the admission to Al- Sulaibikhat was polluted with nutrients, fecal bacteria, and highly toxic chemical contaminants. I picked this place for 2 main reasons. First, I want to spotlight on the deadly effect of plastic on the Sulaibikhat beach. Second, I want everyone to be aware of the small mistakes and the harmful actions that they do to the Sulaibikhat beach. I would like to let other people know about this place because I think it would affect people’s health badly.

My teammates and I have chosen pollution as our project theme. Marine pollution is closely related to this theme because it's about the lives of the living. You can find John AL-Kuwait in south of Sulaibikhat. One important fact about John AL-Kuwait, usually it is meeting point of the community in the sea with community on the land. Another shocking point is the sources pointed out that some of those arrested had taken garbage containers as a place to hide, but the careful watchfulness of people (who lawfully live in a country, and state) prevented that. I would like to add that wastewater mixed between domestic and industrial (keeping things clean and disease free) from the camps. I selected this place for two main reasons. First, it is one of the places witch people can go fishing there because there are so many fish there.. Second, John Al- Kuwait is a wide sea that people can breathe fresh air. I would like to let other people know about this place because some people don't want to live in a polluted country.

How to Spend Your Free Time

There are many things people can do in maritime museum. First, visitors can go with there friends and watch and learn the ancient history of Kuwait. Second, they can see how difficult marine life was in Kuwait. Finally, visitors can see and take pictures of huge dhows. One reason I chose the maritime museum is because it is one of the most important museums that contains all the ancient cultural in Kuwait.

In my opinion, people should visit this place to know how Kuwait lived in the past. Because they have many different type of woods to build the dhow.To conclude, I feel happy to have this amazing museum for resident and tourist to now about Kuwait cultural.
