We were reading this book and a pivotal moment happened for the character. A student in the class analyzed it on his own, connected dots, and literally did this motion in class. She was smart, sassy, and sarcastic- pretty much who I am now as a teacher. Ha!

Ms. Allen made learning fun, she was a "real" person, and she had high expectations of me.
