Thanks to everyone who supported our game, thanks to everyone who bought our game, thanks to everyone who didn't like our game but gave it a fair chance. I'm overwhelmed by the outpouring of love we've been receiving. Deathgarden is a game that so many of us poured our hearts into. I loved seeing all the new animations our animators would put in to bring our characters to life, loved seeing all our new maps, and designs, and features. I'm so blessed to have worked with a team of such talented and creative individuals and I'll miss it a lot. I loved chatting with the community and seeing all the cool ideas everyone would come up with, loved seeing all the fan art in various forms (even the memes!). From the bottom of my heart, a huge thanks to everyone who worked on this game, and to all of you that supported us.

Hey everyone! Thank you for being such an awesome community. It was small, but tight-knit. Thank you to the OGs who were there from the Alpha, and thank you to all the players who joined us during the ride. Thank you for your enthusiasm, your amazing fan arts, your cosplays and your streams. Thank you for all that YouTube content featuring crazy Hunter snipes, Scavenger jukes, Golden Crate exploit (REEEE) and ridiculous ragdoll momentum. We had an internal 'leaderboard' called Ultimate Gardener. We had a playtest every Friday, and the Hunter and Scavenger with the most points would be awarded a plant as a trophy.

Thanks for playing our game, know that I was so intense while playing hunter that I was annoying everyone in the office, hence my name "AnnoyingLoudGuy". I enjoyed crucifying every single one of you and it was totally worth yelling out my statisfaction (which got me many warnings from managers *oops*). Thanks for sticking with us as long as you did, without you I would have been a pretty lonesome hunter.

PAX East Story

Deathgarden has been the first title I work on after I graduated university. By the time we went to PAX East to present the first iteration of deathgarden, I had been on the project for a couple month only.

I joined late in the project but that didn't stop me from enjoying the awesome world that is Deathgarden. I met a lot of great players and had plenty of fun getting that Hunter Close XP. Thank you to everyone who let me play with them and to those who showed me some serious skillz.

I have so many good memories of working on DG. The dev team was awesome and of course the community was the best. My best memory of the development of DG has to be the PAX east experience. It was my first time at PAX and also the first game I worked on. Being able to witness the amount of gamer who wanted to try the game blew my mind :o I felt so proud of working on a badass game and I still feel proud of all the work we've done to make the game greater. I give a big thank you to everybody who ever played the game. I will keep a good memory of the days passed in the garden !

I've joined the DG dev team right at the end. It was a very interesting experience. I had to learn to play the game, the hard way. You guys have killed me way to often. I have struggled to kill you more often than not. But little by little I got to love this game and the community. I've met incredible people, both in the office and online, all of whom loved this game and wanted the best for it.
Thanks for your support and your love of the game, without you guys this sort of experience is impossible.

I've been lucky enough to have been with the community since the start. It has been an honour playing with and hanging out with you guys in my spare time.

I hope you know that the time I've spent on this project has been a real highlight of my career - and it is all thanks to you folks. From PAX 2017 to now - the love has never waned.

Amongst my favourite SFX to make were the pick-ups and object regenerations, but it was the drone activation that I think became iconic to me.

This is where it started. I didn't know anything at all about this game. First thing i did was to fall out of world and die on the bloodpost.

Had lots of fun at Pax introducing the game to everyone and it was great to see all the excitement around the game there. I worked in QA and from that perspective the game was really stable. The programming team really knew what they were doing. I had a blast working on this project and will always remember the fun times we had making this game. It is difficult making these types of games as just a small change can upset the balance considerably. Just hearing how the community was enjoying it and giving us their feedback made it a fun project to work on. Thanks Everyone! :) ~Bread

I consider myself lucky for having the chance to talk directly with a lot of you. It really made all the difference in the world for having us understand issues and improve the stability in all aspects.

I want also to add a special thanks to every streamers of the game. No matter how many viewers you had, we were watching you at night and moreover at every release.
