These materials were created to fit all students’ needs. However, previous literature revealed that teachers had to cope with some issues and challenges when using these modified textbooks. Therefore, the study's main purpose was to explore the case of a group of Ecuadorian English teachers from a public school who encountered difficulties when using the English pedagogical models. The study was conducted under a qualitative methodology, and data was gathered from a survey with open-ended questions. The results from this study interpreted the different perspectives and attitudes that teachers have towards these pedagogical models. The results and conclusion aspire to inform the teachers’ community about the impact that these sorts of educational changes or implementations may have.
