A house isn't a home it's the relations found that have carried you to where you are today. It fosters a comfortability in which as a child you learnt was your haven, where you grow and where you can unapologetically become your own. As you grown into an adult it becomes no different, as the house changes and the people around it also change, the nature of growth follows you as the new places and new experiences change and challenge, you can rely on your home to remain your haven as you watch everything change.

Home isn't a physical place, it is a state of mind where you feel comfortable and at ease.

Someone's home is their base. Where we can make whatever we would like of it. If we want it to be a dance floor, resting place, refuge, work station etc, then it can be. For me, having a home I can return to regardless of the time is what makes me feel safe and encourages me to explore further (knowing I can always return to my base).

Home is a place where I can relax and follow my own creative endeavours. I can go to my bedroom and sleep, or invest myself in reading a novel, or perhaps writing one. I can go to the kitchen and bake some delicious biscuits, cakes and breads – whatever my heart desires. I can go to the living room to play a video game or lay down on the couch to watch TV. I could delve myself into something informative that enhances my academic knowledge, or some fictional world and enhance my emotional and social knowledge by understanding stories from different personas and therefore, perspectives. Home is a firm structure to help me nurture my understandings of the world and skills.
