The article I chose was "The Girl Who Fought the Nazis. My article was about a girl named Sonia Orbuch who fought in WWII as a Jew. Jewish soldiers were called Partisans, and Sonia was one of them. She went through a lot as a Jew during the Holocaust. Her and her family were forced into hiding, forced to do extremely exhausting labor work, and had to survive hiding in a forest too.

Why did you chose it?

I thought it sounded interesting and the name "The Girl Who Fought the Nazis" intrigued me. I wanted to know what is was about and if someone really did fight the Nazis.

I liked to hear about the story of Sonia Orbuch. Her story is very inspiring and she had many adversities she had to overcome. Both her brothers had to leave to fight in the war, so it was just her and her parents. Then she had to fight as a Partisan. But overall, her story is very interesting.
