- I am an Associate Professor of Instructional Technology at WWU.

- Prior to WWU, I have taught at the University of Houston in Houston, Texas and at the Tianjin University of Science and Technology in Tianjin, China.  

- I used to be an EFL (English as a Foreign Language) instructor.  

- I have 13 years of teaching experience overall.

- I used to host a small weekly radio show.  

- When I have free time I like to play video games. (Recently finished Resident Evil 9)

i have a dumb little kitten named Momo and i love to joke that the Taste of Nepal food truck at the seattle premium outlets are his little manhood sacks that he got removed in ferndale.

this is momo and the food truck last weekend when i did some bday shopping for my girlfriend/spiritual wife.

i recently got a new job at JUXT Taphouse, come get a drink and some food (bribe)

i host parties for the cohort sometimes and micah and i grew up in bellingham, but never crossed paths until now, some real romeo and juliet 🤬

i am excited for this class i love tech and excel and data and websites and SEO!

I grew up in Overland Park, Kansas City; I'm still a huge Chiefs fan (if Patrick Mahomes' isn't ready to go week 1 I will cut my leg off and give him my ACL).

I have two cats! Intercontinental Ballistic Missile and Blood Starved Beast (I'll try and add pics below)

I have a beautiful wife, Brooke!

She's a lab chemist in Ferndale.

I like to play silly little video games. My favorite video games of all time are Resident Evil 4, Batman Arkham City, Star Wars Battlefront 2 (OG), Dishonored, Metal Gear Solid 1, Elden Ring, Bloodborne, Dark Souls 3, Silent Hill 2, RDR2, Uncharted 2/4, Resident Evil 3 OG, Portal 2, and God of War 2018.

I also like to make movies and short videos! I'm really bad but I try. My favorite films are RRR (please watch if you don't know it), Spiderman 2, Dune Part 2, Kikis Delivery Service, and the 2008 Speed Racer movie.

- My biggest challenge right now is being stuck in rooms with no windows during Spring term.

• One thing you may not know about me is that my favorite food place is a mexican food truck out near ferndale called "El Tapatio". Or a restaurent in Eureka CA I cant remember what its called.

During spring break I went with my partner Meadow (pictured) to their mom's house which is also a duck pond and lavender farm in Sequim, WA. We hung out with the ducks and a salamander (pictured) and a dog, Kuma Jones (pictured).

• I did my undergrad at WWU (English: Creative Writing).

• I grew up in Home, WA which is NOT an actual town because it's township got revoked due to nudity and anarchy. My house is also a pokéstop in pokémon go kachow

• Big fan of the falafel gyro at Cafe Akroteri.

• I have been published 3 times and one of my pieces got nominated for a Pushcart Prize (this is a big deal lowkey).

• My cat is 17 years old and he's honestly my favorite person in the world. His name is Chipie.

• My favorite Robin is Tim Drake and I will not take criticism on this.

I grew up in the middle of nowhere Washington- Skamokawa. On a farm with a glassblowing studio in my barn.

I love Crochet and doing crafts with my hands.

When I was a senior in High school I recieved an award for Artistic Achievement from the Washington Senetor for my work in Photohraphy .

• Prior to Woodring's program, I was an undergrad student here at WWU in the history department.

• During my time in undergrad, I had the privilege of writing published content for both The Front and Klipsun Magazine, both of which are student-ran journalistic publications based out of campus.

• I am currently an officer/tool smith for the Bellingham Order of the Saber, a Star Wars-themed club here on campus.

• Most of my spare time is spent writing and worldbuilding; while currently dormant, I am a DM that hosts campaigns for tabletop RPGs.

• My primary aspiration is a tall, TALL order in today's world, but I would love to teach high school history in the Bellingham area.
