Using news paper for water droplet photos.
- Put masking tape on the back drops.
- Make sure the model stands away from the back drop roll.
- Make sure everything is kept neat and tidy.
- For the light make sure to adjust it if putting any objects on it the heavier the lower the lighter the higher.
- If Changing the light make sure to use gloves or turn the light off and keep checking the light with the back of the hand.

He began studying photography in 1941 and spent 6 years working for commercial photography and graphic design studios. He shot on a "Leica 33 mm" camera, the black and white images are considered Franks masterpieces and focussed on figures from the overlooked margins of American life from teenage couples and factory workers to bikers. Robert Frank was inspired by fellow Swiss Jacob Tuggener's [1943] film book Fabrik, Bill Brandt's The English at Home [1936] and Walker Evans's American photographs [1938]. when i saw this photo the first thing i noticed were the colours and how it was in two sections of black and white with people walking past in black on the white side and lights and road patterns on the black side. This would mainly interest photographers and creators as they would be able to analyse and understand the picture a lot. I think this is a really cool picture as it shows the comparison of the black and white colours and i love how on both sides theres still a bit of the opposite colour. If i was going to make something like this i would definitely use the colour contrast and comparison. This is a picture of two children at the beach eating ice cream made by
martin parr who was born on the 23rd of May 1952 and is age 70. Martin parr was influenced by William Eggleston
and Stephen shore and
discarded monochrome for the popping colour photography he is known for. He also wanted to become a photographer from the age of fourteen and his grandfather was an amateur photographer which Influenced him to be a photographer. Martin parr used a 33mm Leica m3 in the 1970s but in the 80s he used a lot of medium format and flash and
in the late 2000s he used a digital Sony camera and later switched to a cannon 5D. Martin parr’s main themes and subjects is mainly beaches and people which are in a strange but realistic way to make the viewer take a moment to look at the image. The first thing I saw in the photo was that it's at the beach and mainly the background of the picture. I can also see two children eating ice cream with one of them being a boy who's not looking at the
camera and the other being a girl who's looking at the camera. This was one of the pictures that was made during 1978 at the beach that was promoting an open day at the station. This would interest all age types but mainly the toddler's younger generation to maybe inspire them to enjoy the hot weather and a break. My opinion on this picture is that I like the picture because when you take the time into thinking about it you can kind of see a few hidden messages in the photograph. If I was going to make something like this, I would use a similar background but with me and my family. one for the High key and other for Low key. To set up the studio the lighting had to be in the correct place for each setup also once they were in the right places, i used the light meter so i could check the aperture.I also used a receiver to interpret the flash effect on the camera when i'm taking pictures. Then i used the trigger to send a signal to the flash so it comes up with the flash effect when you take the picture. The different lighting processes were quite interesting but my favourite is probably the split lighting as it looked really good and different and loved making it ,however i didn't really enjoy making the Rembrandt as much as some of them didn't turn out the way i wanted them to be. I enjoyed the butterfly photos and definitely making them too as the lighting was amazing and i even posed on them because the lighting is that good on them. My overall experience with working with others is that it is really fun and sometimes can be very entertaining but it's definitely a great way to work. My final summary of this is that i enjoyed it a lot and learned quite a lot too but i would change some things about how some of the pictures turned out and definitely take a bit longer to make the pictures and edit them. Exposure

When you think of photography you immediately think of exposure. Exposure is a critical element that determines what is recorded on film or the image sensor.
There are three adjustable elements that control the exposure- Iso, shutter speed and aperture.

Shutter speed

It determines how much light is passing through the camera.
Shutter speed is measured in seconds and fractions of a second, for example 1/25th.
Although there are some negatives like if you have a slow shutter then you might have motion blur but if you have a fast shutter then you will end up with under exposed images, so you want to try aim for a mid-range.

Aperture

The aperture has two functions; 1 how much light is allowed through lens and 2 it controls the depth of field.
The aperture is measured in ‘f/stops’ and these have a number value: F2,F2.8,F4,F5.6,F8,F11,F16 and F22.
Small apertures [F11, F16, F22] only let a small amount of light through and larger apertures [F4, F5.6, F8] let large amounts of light through.

ISO

The ISO controls how sensitive the digital sensor is to light.
It is used in low lighting conditions to give that extra light on your image however the higher the ISO the more ‘noise or gain’ appears in the image and will reduce the quality.
ISO speeds can range from 100 to 1600 on most cameras but can also reach 3200 to 6400 on a high end DSLR.
